About Us
BioLASCO Taiwan Co., Ltd was established in 2001, collaborating with CRL (Charles River Lab.) which is the largest supplier of laboratory animals in the world. BioLASCO obtained authorized technology licensee of CRL and built up the first private animal breeding center which meets international standards to produce SPF (Specific Pathogen-Free) laboratory mice and rats in Taiwan. The authorized territory includes China and SE Asia. In 2015 and 2016, BioLASCO invested India and Thailand to selling laboratory animal-related equipment and hereafter, setting up SPF laboratory animal breeding center in India as well.
BioLASCO Yilan breeding center in Taiwan got full accreditation of AAALAC International in 2007. From 2008 to until now, BioLASCO supply international standardized laboratory SPF mice and rats, obtain SNQ (Symbol of national Quality) and National Biotechnology and Medicine Care Quality Award.
In addition to breeding SPF animals in Taiwan, BioLASCO also distribute and import disease models of mice from JAX (The Jackson Laboratory), laboratory dogs and ferrets from Marshall, other sources of various laboratory animals, provide equipment for laboratory animal research use and related equipment of breeding, cleaning and sterilizing for animal facility. In 2017, BioLASCO found pathology and toxicology laboratory and brought foster breeding service for customers.

biotechnology industry’’ to provide completed and comprehensive service for life science research
and pharmaceutical drug development contentiously in the future.
Yilan Breeding Facility
BioLASCO Yilan breeding center owns four advanced animal housing barrier rooms in Asia. Four rooms are completed independent barrier system to maintain the health of SPF laboratory animals and decrease the possibility and risk of cross-infection.
In animal facility, to supply high-quality and stable SPF laboratory animals, we have comprehensive environmental monitoring system, RO automatic drinking water system and feeding management system for animals; also, we provide perfect working area and recreational area for our factory employees. BioLASCO upholds the concept of professional management as a supplier of SPF laboratory animals.
Pathology and Toxicology Laboratory
In order to provide a comprehensive service, BioLASCO Taiwan established the Pathology and Toxicology Laboratory in July, 2017. The pathological and toxicological tests, interpretation and reports that you need are performed and issued by our professional veterinary pathologist and skillful staff.
Animal testing Laboratory
In 2022, BioLASCO established Animal Testing Laboratory equipped with sophisticated animal husbandry and laboratory facility, as well as professional and experienced staff to provide our customers with more diversified laboratory animal services.
